Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro Mobile Phone

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro Mobile Phone – a really long name indeed! Unlike the name however, the device itself is quite tiny (and cute) for a smartphone. Despite being small in size, it comes with an impressive set of features which you would expect on a regular sized present-day smartphone.

The Xperia X10 Mini Pro has a 2.5-inch full touch-screen, with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. This is a slider phone and has a QWERTY keyboard hidden beneath the screen. Although small in size, the keyboard is easy to use. While this is a 3G mobile phone which can access the internet, the small screen might not be suitable for excessive media and web usage. The 4 corners of the touchscreen offer customisable shortcuts to your favourite applications.

This little smartphone is based on Android 1.6. An upgrade to a more recent version should be available soon.

EDGE and GPRS are supported as well, so that you can access the web when there is no 3G signal available. There’s WiFi compliance too. Surfing the internet, socialising on the networks, emailing and more is thus possible. Apart from emails, you can keep in touch with people via calls, SMS, MMS and IM.

Bluetooth can be used for data exchange with other devices. In-order to connect to a PC or laptop, there is a micro-USB port. MicroSD cards are supported as well for memory expansion and files exchange.

With A-GPS, Google Maps and Wisepilot turn-by-turn navigation software you can find your way around town.

The Xperia X10 Mini Pro is home to a 5MP camera with auto-focus and flash. You can capture both photographs and videos with it. Geo-tagging is also possible.

On the entertainment front, there’s an FM radio, 3D games, a YouTube application, Realtime video streaming and more. A 3.5mm headphone jack is as well available.

Battery life for talk is about 3-4 hours. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro is available in black, pearl white and red colours. It is currently available with O2 for a contract. Prices start at about £25 per month.
